Dry Drayton School Photo 1922
Below is a lucky find of a photographic image of a school group from Dry Drayton School in 1922. The reverse of the photo is printed as a postcard. It has never been used postally, but has written on it "Baker, 13 Pettits Ln/2 (sic) and "Mrs Hobbs". We have enlarged sections of the photo. There is one girl excluded from the group standing just around the corner - she moved as the picture was taken and all we can see is a blur. What was her story? Do you recognise any of children as members of your family? If any of them are still alive today they would be well into their 90s.
