DryDrayton.net is a website celebrating the local distinctiveness of the village of Dry Drayton, Cambridgeshire. The site was set up in 2001 after two successful local distinctiveness projects to mark the Millennium - namely the publication of the Dry Drayton Parish Map and Gallows Piece to Bee Garden (a village history).

The site is run as a personal project by local resident Les Waters.

The site contains details of local organisations, events, activities, local news and facilities, services and other information relating to the village of Dry Drayton, Cambridgeshire. Personal data appears on the site in the form of details of contacts for local organisations and events. This information is also in the public domain through the publication of a printed village newsletter published by the Dry Drayton School and Village Association and is processed with consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and contact details will be removed from the site.

In addition, the website holds a list of e-mail addresses, provided with the consent of the individuals concerned, who have asked to receive periodic e-mails with local news items relating to the village of Dry Drayton. No other personal data is kept with these e-mail addresses, which are stored in a password protected spreadsheet not accessible online. The e-mail addresses are used in the BCC field of periodic local news e-mails circulated by the webmaster. The e-mail addresses are not shared with any other organisation. Every E-Mail circulated invites recipients to unsubscribe from the list if they wish. Any requests to unsubscribe are handled promptly.
