Dry Drayton Family History Francis and Clements Families
John Mills from Sussex writes, trying to find details of local ancestors:
Dear Webmaster,
I am trying to trace my family history and have reached back to a marriage in 1798 at Madingley Parish Church. The couple were Woodley Francis and Mary Clements. Woodley Francis came from Dry Drayton and was a farmer. Mary Clements came from Madingley. I am therefore looking for any information relating to the Francis or Clements families.
I have used the services of Cambridgeshire Archives Service to get this far but they cannot find the origins of Woodley Francis.
